Swedish meatball burgers (recipe in the comments)
Corn on the cob
Grilled zucchini and squash

Hot tea

This is an amazing an unusual burger recipe. We have done it successfully with beef and turkey and I'm certain a mix would work. The seasoning is subtle, but very *present*. These are best on potato rolls, but we also like them on onion rolls. Corn is an EXCELLENT side. The rest is pretty variable. We have had this with company and it is very well received :) It was a perfect last meal with my mom.

Prep Notes
Difficulty: Easy
Chopping: Onion, parsley, halving the squashes to grill
Time: 35 minutes
Make ahead: You can make the burger blend whenever and grill last minute.

Reaction
J: "A whole new burger!"
M: "Swedish folk make GREAT food!"

Swedish Meatball Burgers – Cooking Light
Serves 4

⅓ cup finely chopped onion
2 T chopped fresh parsley
1 T paprika
1 T brown sugar
1 ½ T white wine vinegar
1 t salt
⅛ t ground allspice
⅛ t ground nutmeg
1 ½ lb ground turkey or lean beef
Cooking spray
6 potato sandwich rolls, split (onion will do if you can’t get potato), toasted
Sour cream
Ketchup

Prepare grill.

Combine first 9 ingredients. Divide mixture into 6 equal portions, shaping each into a 1/2-inch-thick patty.

Place patties on a grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer registers 160°. Remove from grill; let stand 5 minutes.

Serve burgers on rolls with sour cream and ketchup.
