Pasta with marinara, spinach, and garlic (no recipe required)
Steamed broccoli with wine and lemon
We're a bit worried that we're all coming down with some odd illness. It mostly takes a cold form, but has some tummy trouble as well. When it came to cooking, we just couldn't do the chickpea salad we had planned. So, pasta and emergency jar sauce get livened up with some garlic cloves and frozen spinach we have here waiting for just such evenings. We also had a bag of frozen broccoli, which is good because the fresh beans we bought mid-week just don't smell so good. Thank God for contingency planning :)
